In this class we will go over the basic steps of the copper foil method of stained glass.
You will learn to trace, cut, grind, foil, clean, solder and (time allowing) patina your own piece.
All glass making tools and materials will be provided, however, if you want to use a specific color or piece of class you are responsible for bringing it (no heavily textured glass).
Things you must bring to class:
- Safety glasses (or regular glasses if you need them)
- Apron (keep glass shards and lead away from your clothing)
There will be multiple patterns to choose from and an assortment of basic colored glass. Remember, the focus of this class is to learn the basics, not make your full window masterpiece!

I came in without any knowledge whatsoever about stained glass and had the best time! My teacher was kind, answered the hundreds of questions I had with patience, and explained each step clearly and in a very engaging way. I couldn’t recommend this class more!
